Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor, University of Illinois at Chicago, Restorative Dentistry—Advanced Operative/General Dentistry
The Department of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago under the leadership of Dr. Stephen Campbell is seeking applications for two full-time faculty positions (non-tenure track) beginning July 1, 2013 at the Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor levels. Future tenure track options exist for qualified/successful candidates. Responsibilities include preclinical and clinical instruction in all aspects of the restorative sciences. Qualifications include a DDS/DMD degree, and advanced training in operative dentistry or general dentistry (board eligibility/certification desirable where appropriate, but not required). Prior teaching experience is desirable. Candidates must be eligible for licensure in Illinois. Candidates with training and/or experience in research are preferred.

Georgia Healthsciences University, College of Dental Medicine Instructor/Assistant/Associate Professor Oral Rehabilitation—Prosthodontics/Restorative Dentistry

Two full-time, tenure/non-tenure track faculty positions. Teaching responsibilities include participation in clinical and preclinical courses in prosthodontics, operative dentistry, and/or restorative dentistry at the pre-doctoral and post-doctoral level. Preference will be given to candidates with significant clinical experience, post-graduate training in prosthodontics/operative dentistry/general dentistry or prior experience in dental education. Participation in faculty practice and research is expected. Applicants must be a graduate of an ADA accredited dental school or 2 year postgraduate training program and be licensed in a state or eligible for licensure by the Georgia Board of Dentistry. University of Maryland—Operative Dentistry
The Department of Endodontics, Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry, University of Maryland is seeking candidates for two full time faculty positions at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor in Operative Dentistry. Responsibilities include didactic and clinical teaching in Cariology, Operative Dentistry, Dental Anatomy and Occlusion, and Esthetic Dentistry. Demonstrated record of successful research, involvement in leadership in dentistry at the local or national levels, and other scholarly activities are highly desirable. Requirements for the position include a DDS/DMD degree, or foreign equivalent, and eligibility for a Maryland dental license. Preference will be given to candidates with Masters or Ph.D. degrees, expertise in cariology and caries risk assessment, funded research, demonstrated innovative approaches to curricular development and/or continuing education and productivity in other scholarly activities. An opportunity for intramural practice is available and candidates are encouraged to participate. Appointment track, salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
